We also may negotiate for the purchase of a patent or rights to use of a design, allowing our client to remain anonymous. Third-party patent acquisitions may allow us to purchase the patent for a better price than if the true identity of the end user was known. When conducting such investigations, we maintain the upmost professional and ethical standards, and involve the client as needed to ensure all potential legal issues are addressed.
