Vaudra Ltd.’s investigators traveled to Charleston in August to meet with HSI/CBP authorities, tour the Port of Entry and conduct IP training on behalf of several brand owners. In the process, agents shared insights on their protocols, procedures, and investigative techniques used to identify and inspect suspect shipping containers entering and exiting the port. Investigators also met with members of the boarding teams and smuggling units. It was a valuable learning experience for all involved. We are extremely grateful to the Assistant Port Directors and all the agents for facilitating the tour and sharing their expertise. We enjoyed visiting their new exam facility and look forward to future collaborations on investigations.
